Revealed: It took seven months to con Dubai ruler out of Sh400 million

The story of how smooth talking, well-connected Kenyans allegedly conned the ruler of Dubai Sh400 million in a gold scam, can now be revealed.

The Directorate of Criminal investigation (DCI) has indicated that Kisii politician Zaheer Jhanda is a person of interest in the deal in which Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the vice president and prime minister of the United Arab Emirates and ruler of Dubai, has been left counting losses.

Sheikh Al Maktoum runs a precious metals company, Zlivia Ltd based in Dubai. Jhanda, who has Arab lineage, was selling it on the cheap.
