Stephen Rabuochi was attacked by four men armed with crude weapons on May 4, 2019.
The gang killed his pregnant wife, Petronila Mungayi, 40, and their three-year-old daughter, Shirleen Awino.
His nine-year-old daughter, Loresho Adhiambo, was also attacked with a hammer and left for dead.
Rabuochi and his wife had just retired to bed at around 9.30pm when they heard commotions outside their grass-thatched hut at Sayangwe village in Matungu sub-county.
Peeping through the window, he saw the gang alight from motorcycles and before he knew it, they had broken into his home and attacked his family.
Elsewhere, Haji Sumba aged, 39, a driver from Lung’anyiro, is nursing injuries at Matungu Sub-County Hospital.
Sumba was attacked on his way home at around 8.30pm. He is nursing deep cuts on the head and both legs.
“I met two young men who, without hesitation, descended on me with crude weapons. One of them attempted to slit my throat and slash my cheek and head. I lost three teeth in the process,” he said.
