Former Machakos gubernatorial aspirant charged with defiling a 17-year-old girl

A former Machakos gubernatorial aspirant gad to pay a cash bail of Sh100,000 with a surety of similar amount after he was charged with defiling a 17-year-old girl.

 Titus Ndundu appearing before senior resident magistrate Irene Kahuya pleaded not guilty to the offence allegedly committed on May 14.

The court heard that the accused at unknown place within the Republic of Kenya, intentionally and unlawfully, caused his manhood to penetrate the female genitals of the 17-year old girl.

Alternatively he was also faced with an indecent act with a child. Defence lawyer Muoki told the court that the accused was a responsible citizen and a professional Engineer.

He asked the court to be provided with the statements and any material that the prosecution will rely on.

The accused was a Machakos gubernatorial aspirant in 2013. Mention of the case was set for June 11, 2018.
