Thika Town fiery MP Patrick Wainaina has laughed off Kirinyaga Deputy Governor Peter Ndambiri’s claims that he was set up in a sex scandal.
He urged him to stop giving excuses and own up to his actions following his engagement in extramarital affairs that shocked the entire country.
The first-time legislator said the deputy governor’s days of impunity had come to an end and he should desist from dragging people into his predicaments.
He was caught red-handed and I don’t think there is need for us to start arguing about it. If it was a trap, what was he doing in a lodging? We are all men and we know how things are done. Let him stop dragging some people into his wrangles. He should defend himself to clear his name and stop blaming people,” said Wainaina.
He asked the police to focus on more pressing issues such as insecurity, instead of wasting time probing the video that went viral on social media.
“Police officers have a mandate to ensure that Kenyans are safe. The incident happened and I wish to urge Ndambiri to look for means to save his marriage because he knows his family better than we do,” added Wainaina who is popularly known as ‘Wajungle’ because of his Jungle Nuts company.
