I bit my wife because she squeezed my balls- Embakasi man tells court

  • The tiff between the two was over some money Muli allegedly took from his wife’s purse
  • The money belonged to a chama group

A businessman has been charged with assaulting his wife in Nairobi’s Embakasi area.

The court heard that Daniel Muli Mutinda assaulted Jackline Twili Musyoka on January 5 thereby injuring her.

According to police records, the accused had a disagreement with his wife at their home over some money which Muli is alleged to have taken from his wife’s purse. The money, the court heard, belonged to a chama group to which Jackline belonged.

Amid the argument, the accused is said to have slapped his wife in the face, leading to a fight. Jackline is alleged to have grabbed Muli’s genitals, and that is when he reportedly sank his teeth into her back to free himself.

The prosecution told the court that the complainant escaped from the house until the following day when she sought treatment and reported the matter to the police who arrested the husband.

The two however agreed to withdraw the case after Muli made the shocking revelation before the magistrate.

“We have sorted out the matter. She grabbed and squeezed my genitals and that’s why I bit her in the back,” Muli told the court.

He also confirmed to the court that he did not suffer serious harm.
