Embakasi East MP Babu Owino has denied rumours doing rounds that he is ‘eyeing’ Nairobi Woman Representative Esther Passaris.

Pictures of the two newly elected city politicians have been the subject of candid discussions on social media.

Passaris, 52, was snapped with Babu when they visited Machakos former Senator Johnstone Muthama at Pangani Police Station where he had been held over hate speech on September 11 and the picture set tongues wagging.

In one of the pictures, Passaris is seen standing close to Babu with the two in deep conversation.

In others, the two are seen laughing heartily. In yet another photo, the two politicians are seen atop the roof of one car.

The pictures came hot on the heels of Passaris’ dismissal of Garissa Township MP Aden Duale as a boy toy not worth her time. Passaris was apparently angered by Duale’s disrespect of her party leader Raila Odinga.

The 28-year-old Babu told The Nairobian they were just discussing the future of the country with the beautiful legislator.

When reached for comment, Passaris was not amused and told this writer: “You can write what the heck you want!”

The flamboyant and controversial former Sonu leader is married to Fridah Muthoni with whom they have two children.

Passaris is a mother of two
