Nairobi's hottest matatu: Riot does not play loud music

While most people are ‘turned on’ by loud music in mathrees, others prefer a quiet ride, you now, to reflect and meditate.

A Ngong Road mathree, Riot, is offering this serene feel. The crew revealed to Ma3 Culture that their rule number one is to never play loud music.

Mark Mandu, aka Brown, one of the crew explains: “Ngong Road has all kind of matatus, but some people like boarding cool mathrees. That’s why we have won the hearts of such passengers”.

He adds that: “We respect the passengers on board and believe it is rude to play loud music especially after a long day.”
