President Uhuru Kenyatta has assured Kisii University students that none of its campuses will be closed.

Uhuru while addressing students at the Main Campus during his visit to Kisii and Nyamira counties noted the infrastructural challenges that the university was facing, and promised to lend a helping hand.

“My Government will facilitate the financing of stalled projects in the university so that it meets the necessary requirements by Commission for University Education,” he said.

Some projects including an ICT centre and Ultra-modern hostels had been stalled for over eight years.
