Kikuyu Member of Parliament Kimani Ichung'wa has told Governor William Kabogo to keep his cash.

“Kabogo went to Ndeiya and gave out Sh300 to a family that was in grief. The body of the deceased had stayed in the mortuary for three weeks,” Kimani said, adding that, “Let him take that money to his wife. Kiambu is not worth Sh300, we don’t want it. He called me a test tube politician and I’m not ashamed. It’s time we showed him that we don’t care about his money.”

Ichung'wa who was not amused by the governor’s remarks that he only goes to rallies to make noise instead of serving the people of Kikuyu said, “This time, he will find real men and we will send him home before dawn.”

Kimani urged residents to back the four gubernatorial aspirants who have shown interest in the seat and vowed to unite for the people of Kiambu.

Kimani has been trading barbs with Kabogo for the last three years.
