These people travel everywhere together and when they are in relaxed environments like hotels and planes, they tend to look at each other in a different manner-Psychologist

Tabitha Gikangi, a psychologist specialised on family and marriage, says the reason most politicians end up having affairs with their colleagues is because of power, boredom and spending too much time together.

"These people travel everywhere together and when they are in relaxed environments like hotels and planes, they tend to look at each other in a different manner," explains Tabitha.

Insisting that clandestine affairs in Bunge are nothing new, the psychologist says affairs within the corridors of power have been happening since time immemorial but that Kenyans think they are rampant now "because the new generation is careless and social media makes these stories to leak".

Samburu Girls Foundation founder Josephine Kulea, a former very close friend of nominated Senator Naisula Lesuuda, told The Nairobian in a former interview that Lesuuda had changed a great since joining politics.

"She changed a lot since all she thinks now political agenda. She even lied that she owns my foundation in an interview with Forbes. What type of friend does that?"
