Kiambu Governor William Kabogo has told his political opponents salivating for his seat that he has no immediate intentions of leaving his position.
This pronouncement comes at a time when a section of politicians have accused Kabogo of failing to improve the lives of Kiambu people.
Speaking at Ting’ang’a Secondary School in Kiambu County, Kabogo wondered how Kiambu gubernatorial aspirant David Ngari alias Gakuyo “will improve people’s lives when 280 women in Gatundu recently took to the streets to protest the loss of their money.”
According to Kabogo, the people of Kiambu should not make a mistake of voting Gakuyo or Ferdinand Waititu because it won’t be a fruitful venture for they are known to make false promises.
“Waititu is a wakahari (hare) and usually goes to funerals to make false promises to the people. The other day, he promised to build a house for a certain mzee and even as we speak, the house has not been built”.
