Football legend Joe Kadenge has been hospitalised.
The former Kenya international was rushed to hospital on Boxing Day after falling sick.
Another former international George Sunguti confirmed to Feverpitch yesterday that he had been forced to rush Kadenge to Meridian Hospital where he was undergoing treatment yesterday.
“Mzee has been unwell, but we hope he will get the right treatment and will be out of hospital soon,” Sunguti said on phone yesterday.
Kadenge had also been rushed to hospital in October after he collapsed while watching a National Super league match at Camp Toyoyo Stadium in Makadara Constituency.
Meanwhile, record Kenyan Premier League champions Gor Mahia have signed Rwandese international Jean Baptiste Mugiraneza on a two year deal, add Supersport report.
Mugiraneza was a free agent after having his contract terminated by his former club Azam eight months before conclusion.
He is expected to take up a central midfield role and fill the void left by Ugandan International Khalid Aucho who moved to Baroka FC in the PSL last June.
Consequently, K’Ogalo are expected not to renew Abouba Sibomana’s contract in order to conform with KPL’s foreign-player-quota of five. The fullback is rumored to be heading back to Rayon Sports in the Rwandan league.
Mugiraneza previously played for Kiyovu SC and APR back home in Rwanda, before crossing over to Tanzania with Azam.
