Former Miss World Kenya could be warming up for a government appointment if not a placement in a big organisation if word on the streets is anything to go by.
The celebrated beauty who has been active and vocal in the anti-jiggers national campaign, and who has actively been working closely with the First Lady Margaret Kenyatta, is rumoured to be set for a big appointment.
“Well, I can’t say which position she could land but I can tell you that she is highly been considered for a public appointment. It might be inappropriate for me to give you details and all I can tell you is to keep your ears on the ground,” our source said.
Asked about the rumour, Cecilia gave a no comment response saying that her contribution to the society has always been at the top of her priorities.
“I like what I do, giving back to the society. I do this out of pure passion. If someone sees me fit for appointment, then, all I can say is that the issue is purely in the person’s hands,” she said.
Cecilia is one of the few celebrities who received an invite to attend the Uhuru swearing in event at Kasarani on Tuesday after which, accompanied by the reigning Miss World Africa Magline Jeruto, who also doubles as Miss World Kenya they attended the State House dinner ceremony.
