Frasha: Politics is not music

By Pulse writer | Friday, Apr 28th 2017 at 07:51

P-Unit singer Frasha has said the short time he has been in politics has taught him a lot about dealing with people and crowds – more than music has done for him all the years.

“Politics is not like music. It is not about moving crowds. It is truly understanding people and their needs. It is about putting yourself in their shoes, living with them and representing them from the inner circle,” Frasha told Pulse, noting that he was optimistic of clinching the Athi River MCA seat, which he is going for.

“I have grown up here and I am receiving good support from both the youth, whom I grew up with, and other residents whom I have been working with in various community projects. The truth is that politics is never easy, so you let the people decide,” he added.
