Meru town was brought to life over the weekend, when some of Kenya’s top entertainers took to stage at the much-anticipated 2017 edition of the Ameru Festival held at the Meru National Polytechnic.

Tens of comedians and musicians, led by MC Jessy outdid each other in a battle for supremacy, much to the delight of the thousands of revellers.

The main act was kicked off by Jessy with a grand entry marked with a ‘lights off’ stage, fireworks by his sides and an electric dance performance with the FBI dance troupe. Legendary singer Nameless thrilled his fans starting with his old school hits before unleashing his latest releases.

Sexy DJ Pierra Makena also made her entry felt by her adoring fans, as other acts among them Khaligraph Jones, DJ Joe Mfalme, Nyashinki, Jua Cali and Collo, lit up the event with non-stop music entertainment.

Meru’s finest talents were led by singer Nassizu Murume, Koffi Machette and Sky Scravers dancers.
