Taylor Swift has proved once again that she has the biggest heart after surprising several of her fans with financial support during this stressful time.

The Lover singer sent $3,000 to a handful of people after noticing that they'd shared posts on social media about their coronavirus-related struggles.

Fans had shared updates on their personal situations on Twitter and Tumblr before receiving private messages from Swift, 30.

Samantha Jacobs, who lives in Orlando, Florida and worked at Walt Disney World, was one of the lucky people the star got in touch with.

She'd taken to Tumblr, saying: "I wish so badly that I could donate to the link Taylor provided (to the charity Feeding America) but because of COVID-19 my job, my only source of income, is closed for a minimum of 30 days.

"I have no job, no income, and no way to pay my bills rn. If anyone happens to be able to donate and has it in their hearts to do so, anything really really helps with bills right now."

Swift then replied, writing: "Samantha, I saw your tweet about being stressed about bills piling up and I want to help. What's the best way I can gift you $3000? Do you have PayPal? Love, Taylor."

Similarly, Holly Turner, who lives in New York said on Tumblr that she couldn't afford to pay her rent at this time.

Swift responded sweetly: "Holly, you've always been there for me, I want to be there for you right now. I hope this helps. Love, Taylor."

Holly later posted a screenshot of the message and the money she'd been sent on Twitter, explaining: "I made a post on Tumblr about how I was scared I wouldn't be able to stay living in NYC because of what corona has done to the music industry. @taylorswift13 literally single-handedly saved my ability to stay here. I cannot even believe my eyes right now."

Swift reportedly also sent money to fans named Leah, India and Bernie.

When people cottoned on to what the singer was doing, they couldn't stop praising her generosity.
