Mr Nice goes for Harmonize’s neck over King’asti sample

Tanzanian legendary singer Mr Nice has accused bongo star Rajabu Abdul Kahali popularly known as Harmonize of stealing his beats. 

Taking to social media, the Fagilia hitmaker claimed that Harmonize sampled the beats from his 2006 hit King'asti and grafted it to Hainistui.

"Harmonize has sampled my beats without my consent, it is the worst kind of stealing. I am hurting for this is like when the child you love most in your family steals from you," he said.

According to Mr Nice, the former Wasafi Classic Baby signee should have simply reached out to him.

"If he would have requested me or just noticed me, I would not have denied him the beats. I feel like I have let friendship prosper more than business," added Mr Nice.

A new battlefront for Harmonize that comes just days after he announced that he was open to working with him, Burna Boy and Ali Kiba. The latter of which raising eyebrows over his rivalry with Harmonize’s former boss, Diamond Platinumz.

Speaking to Journalists moments after a presser in Dar es Salaam, Harmonize affirmed that he will work with Ali Kiba on future projects as he harbours no ill will with him or any other artiste.

''I have no problem with anyone, I can work with anyone, yes even Ali Kiba,'' he said, adding that, ''West African musicians succeed because they work together, they help each other. Why not us?''

In November 2019, Harmonize went head to head with Kenyan producer Magix Enga over claims he stole his beats in the song ‘Uno.’

According to Enga, the singer who was recently appointed as the new brand ambassador of Sayona Twist, a nonalcoholic beverage from the Sayona Drinks Limited, used a beat he created for ‘Dundaing’ that featured King Kaka and Kristoff.

"Harmonize nakuona sana bro. Dundaing Refix King Kaka, Kristoffmwb. 4million views on YouTube," he wrote.

Voted as amongst 50 most Influential Young Tanzanians for the year 2019 Harmonize is nonetheless walking with a bounce on his step. The Sayona deal elevates his clout to that of his ex-ally Platnumz who is also the Pepsi’s brand ambassador.
