Victoria Beckham has slipped from being Posh Spice to becoming more like us common folk - if latest reports of her financial woes are to be believed.

The 45-year-old singer-turned-fashion designer has reportedly been forced to give up her private chauffeur after her fashion business suffered losses of £12.3 million.

It is believed the star has been forced to lay off a number of key staff members as her fashion empire struggles to bring in money.

Her company’s Hammersmith head office will also be looking less welcoming as she has also said to have been forced to cancel her account with her florist because her regular stock of pot plants has been deemed an unnecessary expense.

According to reports by The Sun on Sunday, Vicky has been forced to take desperate measures as she tries to save her business and get her books back into the black after years of sluggish sales.

“The chauffeur has gone, she’s now driving herself or getting Addison Lees, and the designer plants are on the way out as their upkeep is too dear,” a source told the newspaper.

“Victoria is gutted but she’s put everything into her fashion empire and won’t give up without a fight,” the source added.

It is reported that Victoria has let her head of PR go as well as her communications director, and is believed to be taking a pay cut to help keep the company afloat.

A Companies House report last month showed Victoria’s fashion business had posted a £12.2 million loss on the year before.

The bad news means that her company has suffered £42 million losses over the past 11 years - while husband David, 44, has bailed out her business in the past.

Things looked bad for brand Beckham in 2019 when financial reports revealed they had suffered their first ever combined losses as David’s star value also began to wear out.

Adding insult to injury, industry experts said they feared David's star power was floundering due to his appearance, commenting: "His image rights are declining.

"He’s 44 now so that cash cow is beginning to drain a little bit."
