Kenyan ladies are very special- Chris Martin ahead of December 7 concert

Set to visit Nairobi for the Umoja Splash Festival come December 7, reggae singer Chris Martin has nothing, but love for his Kenyan female fans.

“Kenyan ladies are very special. I miss them and I hope to receive more love when I get to Nairobi,” he said as he confirmed that he would be here for the big concert.

It will be a booming month for reggae lovers as two other reggae stars, Eric Donaldson and Luciano, are set to perform in the capital.

Donaldson, known for hits like Cherry Oh Baby and Sweet Jamaica is set to perform on December 21, at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre, while Luciano will grace the same venue on Christmas Eve.


Kenya set to host global music concert

Kenya is set to host a global entertainment event next year. The show to be hosted by the African Entertainment Awards USA in Nairobi follows the footsteps of others held in New Jersey, USA.

The event attracted renowned world-class musicians and dancers and was attended by among others Eric Omondi- who co-hosted alongside Anita Fabiola & Nyla Tamin- on the musicians lists were the likes O Jayy, HOOX, Sadé Emoni, Bones, Eddy Kenzo, Yobass, Ferre Gola, Miri Ben-Ari, Nandy, Chetekela, Morachi, Arita, Ms. Bodega, S. Dubbz, Etoo Tsana and Prince Bright among others.

The event’s president, Dominic Tamin is planning to host the event here in Nairobi by early 2020,and his mission is to unite Africans through music as well empower the talents artists to make a living from their talents

“Our purpose and mission is to unite Africans globally, through music,” he told Pulse.
