Rapper Noti Flow has defended her ex-boyfriend Colonel Mustafa over claims that he is gay and explained that she broke up with him for different, personal reasons.

Responding to allegations stirred up by former Nairobi Diaries actor and rapper Trap King Chrome, Noti Flow stated that peddlers of the allegation were out to soil the name of the former Deux Vultures ace.

Noti Flow, in her statement, called on them to introspect with shame and desist from stooping too low in a bid to gain fame.

She added that she stands by Mustafa.

“Before you tarnish someone’s name and try to ruin their reputation, think of ‘what if ‘ the same was being done to you. It’s disgusting how people can stoop so low just for clout. Yea I called it quits but for my own reasons. We’re still friends. Forever we will be and hence I’ll always stand by him. The b******t y’all are spreading about him are extremely ridiculous & hideous. Despicable. Shame on y’all lowlifes. Karma will catch up soonest,” wrote Noti Flow.

To which Mustafa responded, “Thank you so much, Queen. You are the best.”

The Loboko hitmaker, in a presumed response to Chrome’s allegations that he was living a lie, had earlier professed his love for Noti Flow.

“Nampenda Noti Flow, halafu hamna pesa ya kututenganisha,” he wrote.

Chrome, in his unprecedented claims, had urged Mustafa to ‘’come out of the closet’.

“How long are you gonna keep up this act bro? I have no problem with homosexuals but you on TV every Monday lying to the fans that you’re straight and we all know you got a boyfriend living in your house.

“Be yourself and maybe that will allow some of your fans to do the same. This act is getting old bro. Just come out of the closet.

“I’m sure your fans will support you, just stop living in denial man. I know you gonna hate me for this but it’s time all the games and lies stop.

“You are 40 something you can do better. Just stop the fake relationships, it’s sad to watch. You are trying too hard to keep this up. Just breathe,” wrote Chrome.
