Not too long after Wasafi Classic Baby (WCB) records announced its biggest festival in Tanzanian and released the names of its artists performing that netizens realized Harmonize, one of WCB’s leading artist was missing.

Rumours on social media had it that Harmonize was ‘left out’ of the festival because he and his boss, Diamond Platnumz had fallen out.

The WCB boss has however refuted the claims, stating that everything is fine between them.

Speaking during an interview, the Kanyanga singer was asked why Harmonize was not part of the festival this year.

“The advantage or blessing of WCB is that we are overly booked. For example I’m going back on Monday. Tuesday I have a show in Uganda, Saturday I have a show in Mwanza, Sunday I have a show in Burundi, so we have different shows and getting us together is difficult, he said.

Diamond further explained they are at no liberty as an organization to cancel any of the artists booked shows just so they can attend the Festival.

“The Festival is for everyone not only for WCB. You can find we were booked even months prior so it means we will not be there sometimes. We cannot cancel anyones show unless they themselves cancels them.

“For example in Mwanza, Mbosso will not be there, Rayvanny will also not be there. In other regions even I won’t be available so….” He concluded.

Who is King?

Aside from that, Wasafi’s fast rising singer Harmonize has often been compared to his boss with a few claiming he is better than him.

One of them being Tanzanian socialite Wema Sepetu who says Harmonize is way better than Diamond when it comes to music.

“Level ya Harmonize inamzidi ya Diamond, siwezi kusema ni kwa kiasi gani lakini inamzidi. Pia bidii zake naona akifika mbali sana,” said Wema Sepetu.
