All Saints Cathedral Nairobi is the place to be on Saturday July 20 for a soothing experience to sounds of praise in a joyous celebration of music.
Dubbed Sounds of Praise, the concert will be held at the main sanctuary and will feature the All Saints Cathedral Choir and Kenya Conservatoire Orchestra.
The event starts at 5pm.
Back To Basics, a professional theatre performance outfit, has since the 18th of July showcasing Breathe II at the Alliance Francaise in a must attend showpiece set to run the 21st of July.
Advance tickets for the stories by Jackson Biko as of July 17th went for Sh1000, and Sh1200 thereafter. Students pay Sh800.

Stars for Sarafina Musical
Following last year’s sold-out show, the Nairobi Performing Arts Studio re-enacts the South African Sarafina musical play throughout this month at Kenya National Theatre. The show is based on the original film written in 1992, which tells the story of a young black student struggling to fight apartheid in South Africa. It stars Sheila Munyiva from Oscar-nominated film Rafiki, Mkamzee Mwatela from Mali and Lusala, Martin Githinji from Sue na Johnnie, the wonderful Hellen Mtawali plus a cast of 40 and a live orchestra. Charges are Sh1,500.
Nasty C, Karun Live
Mis X BoomBox hosts one of the continent’s most prolific rap sensations Nasty C in conjunction with Universal Music Group Africa, Nasty C’s very own label Tall Racks Records, Africa Creative Agency and Mookh at the Alchemist tonight. He will share the stage with some of Kenya’s best talent namely Karun, TNT, high-energy DJ sets from Kace, Mix Master Lenny, Freesia Flow, Jo Kisila, Lisbon and Casche. Charges are Sh2,000.

Eric Wainaina is a musician who has used his platform to engender change and has been a seminal figure in the Kenyan democracy movement; a voice for equality, peace, unity, opportunity and social change.
