Talented Tanzanian actress turned fashion stylist Jacqueline Wolper has opened up on why she passed over deals that would have made her millions.
Speaking to Ijumaa Wikienda, Wolper disclosed that as she was making strides early on in her career, several moneyed individuals attempted to use her to enrich themselves more.
She narrated that her principles could not allow her to despite desperately needing the cash that was being thrown left, right and center.
“Unajua kuna vitu nilikuwa navidharau sana, siyo kwamba nilikuwa sitamani kuwa mwanamke mwenye hela bali nilitaka kuishi maisha ya kujitafutia mwenyewe ambapo pale unapokosa unafanya bidii tena ya kusimama lakini sio kumtegemea mtu ndio maana nilikuwa na dharau sana,” said Wolper.
Nine months ago, the actress announced that she had turned to Christ and had resolved to prepare for the afterlife.
“Kiukweli kwa sasa nimeamua kuokoka na kumrudia Mungu, nina uhakika kwa kufanya kwangu hivi niko kwenye mikono salama na mambo yangu yataninyookea Zaidi. kuhusu uvaaji wangu siyo tatizo kwa sababu siku hizi tunaokoka kisasa,” she added.
That is not all.
Earlier in the year, the fashion stylist also made it clear that she will not be getting back together with Harmonize after two broke up over cheating allegations.
Harmonize later went back to his Italian ex-girlfriend Sarah.
