Gifted Tetema producer S2kizzy has watered down claims that singer Rayvanny handed him a brand new Mark X vehicle for the song he featured Diamond Platnumz.

Speaking to Bongo 5, S2kizzy explained that the Mark X was not payment for his work on Tetema but his close relationship with the talented Wasafi label heavyweight.

According to S2kizzy, no one can just dish out cars to everyone they come in contact with but it is a result of relationships they have built over time.

“Sio nakataa kwamba alinipa gari juu ya hilo, lakini ujue sio kila mtu ambaye utamfanyia kitu atakulipa vile ambavyo inatakiwa na sio kila msanii anweza kupa gari.

“Gari sio kitu kidogo ambayo ni kama mtu anakupa T-shirt. Ile me naita love kwa sababu yale sio kama amenipa malipo ya nyimbo, hapana. Ile ni love alikuwa nayo moyoni,” said S2kizzy.

Rayvanny gifted the producer on his birthday a week ago at an impromptu event aired live on Wasafi TV courtesy of a set on Wasafi FM’s Block 89 show.

Wajua nikifanya kazi na S2kizzy alikua na gari lake na alikua akiniambia gari langu bwana kuna jamaa kazingua. Amechanganya mafuta na maji. Sometimes namwambia njoo studio anachukua bajaji, nikaona inatake time so nikwawaza ni kitu gani ambacho ninaweza nikampa... Nimeamua nikachukue gari,” said Rayvanny to a visibly moved S2kizzy at the time.

In the video shared online, S2kizzy was seen slumping on the studio’s table in tears overcome by emotion, upon being presented with the gift.

“Mshike, mshike asije akaanguka,” called out one of the presenters before S2kizzy was led out to the parking lot where the sleek car was officially presented to him.
