Tickets go on sale as Sauti Sol set to headline popular music concert

The official unveiling of the much-anticipated music concert is finally here. Radio Maisha presents to Kenyans the second edition of the Choma na Ngoma musical concert at the KICC grounds on May 31.

The Standard Group Head of Radio, Tom Japani, said the Madaraka Day eve event is special to Radio Maisha family as it celebrates nine years as a radio station.

“With the growing audience of Radio Maisha, we are proud to invite everyone to celebrate contemporary African music that focuses on building local brands in terms of developing local talent,” said Japani.

They include Sauti Sol and Hart the Band and the resilient Willy Paul. Sauti Sol is expected to spice up the event with an exclusive release of a brand new song.

Tanzanian singer Nandi, Alicious from Congo and Nigerian superstar Patoranking are all set to polish the stage.

“Last years’ was a success basically made possible by the same sponsors and suppliers that are today on board to make this concert even a bigger success,” Japani said.

Tickets to the concert are available as from today on, with regular tickets going for Sh1,500 and the VIP tickets costing Sh4,000.
