A Form Two student has been rescued from a gang of men that abducted and repeatedly defiled her for a week.

The student of a secondary school in Ndhiwa sub-county was rescued in an operation initiated by Kanyach Kachar Location Chief Bernard Omuga, who collaborated with police officers from Marindi Police Post on Tuesday evening.

The police arrested three suspects, including a boda boda rider, his brother and their mother. The 15-year-old was said to be traumatised after the ordeal.

The girl was going to school from her parents’ home in Central Kwabwai location in Ndhiwa last week on Tuesday afternoon, when she was accosted by the goons.
