Goodluck Mlinga.

A Tanzanian Member of Parliament has raised concerns over the rise of sexual and body enhancement drugs entering the country.

Addressing parliament, Goodluck Mlinga, the MP for Ulanga inquired on why the uptake of the drugs is on the rise.

“There has been an influx in the use of sexual performance drugs. Mr Speaker, some of the drugs include Super Molinge, Amsha Mzuka and the highly successful Congo Dust.”

“Has the government done research to establish why Tanzanians have low libido hence use these drugs?” he posed.

“You are very knowledgeable huh?” the speaker posed as other MPs laughed uncontrollably.

The Minister of Defence and National Service Dr. Hussein Mwinyi responded to the legislator:

“The reasons that lead to low libido among men are many among them lifestyle diseases such as diabetes, stress among other factors.

“That’s why many people have been looking for solutions to the problem.

“My advice to those using the drugs is to ensure that they have passed inspection by the Tanzania Food and Drug Authority (TFDA).”
