Martin Kamotho, popularly known as 'Githeri Man' is out of rehab.

Kamotho was among 77 graduands who successfully completed a seven-month rehabilitation program at the Mama Care Rehabilitation Centre, Kiambu, on Wednesday.

President Uhuru Kenyatta was among the dignitaries who graced the event initiated by Kiambu Woman Representative Gathoni Wa Muchomba.

Wamuchomba booked Kamotho at the centre in June under the direction of President Kenyatta.

This was after alcohol addiction took a toll on the man who captured the imagination of the country during the 2017 elections after he was photographed standing in a voting queue at Imara Primary school while eating githeri.

A photo that brought the nation much needed comic relief and earned him the coveted Head of State Commendation.

Here are photos of Kamotho at the graduation.
