Betty Kyallo’s sister wins entrepreneurship award

Betty Kyallo’s sister Mercy Kyallo has bagged an award at the Young Entrepreneurs Awards (YEA) 2018.

Mercy, though her leather company Yallo Limited took home the Manufacturing Awards at the event held by Bizna Kenya.

Betty took to social media to congratulate her, “today has been super amazing! Thank God. Something else that’s great happened today. My sister @mercykyallo won Manufacturing Award. Thank you for voting for her! I appreciate it. Mercy you work so hard and I’m proud of you. I love you, keep going sis!” she wrote.

Mercy was among 10 winners picked from 32 nominees in 10 categories, selected through an online public vote.

Pancras Karema of Expeditions Maasai Safaris and Marini Naturals’ Michelle Ntalami took home the male and female Young Entrepreneur of the Year awards respectively.

Renowned actor-cum script writer Abel Mutua of Phil-It- Productions beat Bahati of EMB Records to the Entertainment Industry Award.
