A section of Kenyans have reacted sharply to a video of gospel singer Willy Paul flaunting bundles of cash while in his office.

The singer, who was hyping his studio Saldido international, shared a video with the wad of cash placed on the office table. He then cheekily bungled them in a brown paper bag after the stacks of crispy notes failed to fit in a fanny pack on his waist.

“This is where all the magic come to life... saldido_international. We can change your life...” He captioned the video.

The video, however, drew criticism from some of his fans.

“Pride comes before a fall watch out bro,” a fan warned him, “That's is not thanking God, that's bragging nkt,” said one.

“Humility is not costly bro learn to humble yourself if not before your fans and haters then at least before God who has blessed you with that little so far!” Posted another.

The post, which comes just a few days after the singer travelled abroad to allegedly work with Jamaican singer Samantha J, was also seen as a subliminal shot to fellow singer Nyashinski.

Nyashinski topped trending lists last week after mocking Willy Paul who posted on social media asking for 500 comments before he released his new video.

“My reaction when artists be like ‘if I get 500 comments, I’ll release my new video’,” Nyashinski captioned a picture of himself laughing.

Days later, Willy Paul made several posts that were quickly translated as hit backs.

Guys keep running to my dm, we really need to have this life-changing chat. If someone doesn’t respect you and what you do in your position then he /she is not qualified to get any respect from you, respect is a two - way thing. I’m the future of music,” he said.
