Diamond Platnumz's biological father Abdul Juma has said that he wished he was at the birthday party for his son to rekindle the memories he had with him while he was still young.

In an interview with Global Publishers, Juma said he only saw his son on TV dishing out gifts worth millions in Tandale, last Friday and wished he was invited.

“I wish I was there too. I really wanted to witness the great things that my son did,” said Juma.

He said he believes that his son forgot to invite him and expressed optimism that he would invite him come next year in case he holds another party.

“I heard him saying that he will be holding the same party every year. I hope next time he will invite me as I do not have any issue with him,” he said.

This follows days of philanthropy from the bongo artist who crowned it all by hosting a Yacht Party marking the end of his 29th birthday celebrations.

Juma broke up with Diamond's mother - Sanura Kassim (Bi Sandra) - when Diamond was six – years - old.

The Jibebe hit maker later started making waves in Tanzania as he belted out tunes and soon fame and money was at his doorstep.

The singer has often said that he owes a lot to his mother and has less communication with his father who he claims abandoned them.
