The Grapevine has learnt that the 2018 machine with zero mileage is parked at the CS’s Nairobi home as he “monitors the environment” before he can start using it.
Those watching him wonder where he got the money to purchase the car, especially considering that spending by state officials is under close scrutiny.
His friends are also baffled because he joined government early this year- Is it possible that he could have earned or saved so much cash in such a short time?
Elsewhere, two MPs caused drama in Parliament over a Sh100 note they spotted on the ground.
The two tussled as each claimed the money had dropped from his pocket.
