The annual Global Citizen Festival (GCF) is coming to Africa this year and the power couple Bey and Jay will be some of the top performers of the event.

The couple who just released their joint album “Everything is love” have been on their OTR2 tour around the world.

There was a rumor early this year that the two would be stopping by Kenya for the tour but looks like their performance will not be that far away from home.

The festival will be taking place on 2nd December in South Africa Johannesburg at the FNB stadium. This year’s festival is themed Mandela 100 to celebrate Nelson Mandela’s 100 birthday with the tagline “be the generation.”

There will be no tickets on sale as all you have to do is earn it by signing up on the website and taking action to alleviate extreme poverty.

Other artists joining The Carters on stage will be Cassper Nyovest, D’banj, Ed Sheeran, Eddie Vedder, Femi Kuti, Pharell Williams, Chris Martin, Sho Madjozi, Tiwa Savage, Usher and Wizkid.
