Nairobi: Police boss ‘demands’ bribes from juniors

This is increasingly killing morale and affecting delivery of services

A section of junior officers at a Nairobi police station are up in arms against their OCS who they claim is of high handedness and corrupt to core.

They claim the OCS demands bribes and other forms of favours to allocate them duties.

This is increasingly killing morale and affecting delivery of services.

The officers want the police bosses especially the county police commander, to investigate the matter. Some officers are said to considering quitting the service.

The issue is said to be common among some senior officers.

Over to you Inspector General of police Joseph Boinnet.
