Why CSs are snubbing parliamentary committees

Have President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto asked Cabinet Secretaries to snub invitations to appear in parliament? This is the question most people are asking themselves after two CSs’ decided not to show up before two house committees. 

One of the officials for the second time on Monday failed to appear before the team, incensing   members who were waiting for him.  A move by National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale to defend the CS for not showing up just served to drive the point him. 

A little birdie at the House in hill told Grapevine that moving forward it will only be the newly appointed Chief Administrative Secretaries who will be making appearances in parliament to answer questions raised by lawmakers.
