Akothee: How to turn ‘sponsor’ cash into Safari Company

‘You have a sponsor but you can never become rich, simply because, you have NO idea of how to make or multiply that money, the only thing you know is how to spend & so easy come, easy go; you don’t even think of opening an account so that even the bank can relate with you, but you live on your Instagram & Facebook account like you made money 20 years ago? Wannabiss (sic)!’

Billionaires like Flavia Briatore may be threatening to pull their investments out of Malindi, but controversial musician Akothee, like the proverbial shark in troubled seas, has seen an investment opportunity in nearby Watamu and began a safari company at the strategic junction of the Gede-Watamu and Jacaranda roads.

‘Akothee Safaris’ targets tourists who have come to enjoy their holidays along the turquoise Watamu coastline and convinces them to also spend a week on a ‘big cat’ safari in either the Maasai Mara, Samburu or Amboseli.

Akothee (Esther Akoth) recently explained her business philosophy on social media.
