- Residents of a county in Western are furious after a Deputy Governor moved to a hotel
- The Deputy on assuming office ’abandoned’ his home and moved into the hotel
- Voters are complaining that they cannot access the Deputy Governor at the hotel
- He has two official homes in the county
A deputy governor from a county in Western Kenya is the talk of town.
This is after the top county official on assuming office 'abandoned' his home and move in to a hotel owned by his boss that is less that is a stone throw away from the county headquarters.
The senior leader decision has puzzled his supporters since he has two official homes in the county, with one of them being less than two kilometres away from his office.
Now some voters who cannot access the Deputy Governor at the hotel, like the used to during the campaigns when he could host them at his homes, are wondering if they made a wrong choice on August 8.
