On October 26th during the first day of the repeat presidential elections, National Resistance Movement (NRM) leaders Raila Odinga, Musalia Mudavadi and Moses wetangula stayed at home to protest the polls.

In accordance with the opposition’s stand that without reforms at the IEBC they will not partake in the elections, the leaders restrained from any election related activity.

Raila Odinga and Musalia Mudavadi spent the day in their Nairobi homes monitoring the situation while Wetangula joined his ageing parents in Bungoma.

“In the morning he was reading and the afternoon he was following the activities of the day. He did what he asked NASA supporters to do; to stay home,” Suna East MP Junet Mohammed stated regarding Raila Odinga’s whereabouts.

Kalonzo Musyoka is currently in Germany and is expected back in the country any time soon.
