Angry mother planning demonstrations after she’s nominated as MCA by son then rejected by party

She’s crying foul
  • The mother had campaigned on a popular party ticket but only managed a handful of votes
  • She had her hopes on her son to sort out and get nominated
  • She was the shortest serving nominated MCA

An angry mother is planning demonstrations to protest what she terms as a historical injustice.

The mother, Grapevine is heard, had campaigned on a popular party ticket but only managed a handful of votes during the nominations.

She however convinced her supporters that she would be nominated and was unperturbed when her party declined to nominate her.

Her son, she declared, was very senior and would sort out her issue.

When the list of nominated leaders of her county were gazetted, her name was included, to the chagrin of her party which had rooted for another person.

Now the party has the last laugh because her name was struck off and her son is fighting for his career after it was discovered that he was instrumental in subverting the will of the indomitable political party.

She was the shortest serving nominated MCA in the history of Kenya.
