Kanye West faces fresh heartbreak after his baby cousin Avery died in his sleep.
The little boy, who just turned one, reportedly passed away despite there being no sign of illness or distress.
Avery is the son of Kanye's cousin Ricky Anderson, who works at the rapper's label GOOD Music in Los Angeles, TMZ reports.
Ricky announced the awful news on social media, telling his followers: "Today was the worst day of my life!! I lost my lil man and gained an angel! Rest in Paradise!!!! I love you man."
"My heart!!" he added next to a video of the cute youngster dunking a football in a child-sized hoop.
Ricky shared more pictures and videos of the baby boy learning how to use a toothbrush and trying to talk.
Avery's mum Erica Paige has opened up about the heartbreaking loss, and just four days ago she shared a snap of Avery sucking his thumb while looking at iconic producer Quincy Jones, who is thought to be a family friend.
This life in so unfair. I love you with everything inside me and it is with incredible, unbearable pain that I will have to try to find the strength to do a single thing without you. I am so grateful for being able to spend almost 17 months with you. You brought me so much happiness and I'm so proud of how hard you fought. Thank you for all the laughs, cuddles, hugs and kisses, you took care of me in a way no one else could. My heart is forever broken. I love you so much, mommy is with you.
