Tanzanian star Diamond has collaborated with international grammy awards singer Mohomobi and Congolese artist in a song titled “Rockonolo”. The collabo was born out of a brief meeting between 3 artists who bumped into each other at the MAMA 2016 Johannesburg South Africa.

The Congolese singer who is signed to Mohombi’s record label  had attended  the MAMAS 2016 with Mohombi who also has Congolese blood. At the event they meet Diamond Platnumz and Franko and both artists love his music. The quartet then decides to do a Remix version of Lumino’s Rockonolo single.

The collabo comes at a time when Diamond has just released his single with Neyo “Marry You” which has done really well. A hint that Diamond is now going for the international market after conquering Africa where he has bagged collabos with the best in the continent.

The project is part of Mohomobi’s initiative to create an artist platform #AfricaUnited, with the goal to build bridges between African artists in form of collaboration and mutual support.
